Shenzhen Syscan Technology Co., Ltd (Syscan), registered and established in Shenzhen in 2001, is a hi-tech enterprise with the registration capital of USD$12,000,000 and the total capital of USD$40,000,000.
Syscan has engaged in research, development, design, manufacture and sales of CIS (contact image sensor) modules, kinds of USB powered mobile scanners, ID card scanners & passport scanners,portable duplex scanners,business card scanners,2D Barcode scanners and system solution. Syscan is the pioneer and one of the largest manufacturer of portable USB scanner and CIS (contact image sensor) modules around the world, and also the most influential provider of 2D Barcode technology, products and application solutions in China.
Syscan has kept up with the state of the art technologies in the field of mobile scanners, card scanning solutions, 2D barcode technology and CIS (contact image sensor). More than 170 patents have been applied in different countries. Among them, more than 100 patents have been approved. For example, Syscan own the core patent like USB power technology for scanner.
Basing on the self-developed Syscan 2D Barcode technology with IPR, Syscan has successfully undertaken development of barcode standards, manufacture of barcode readers and providing application solutions. The "Grid Matrix (GM) Code" and the "Compact Matrix (CM) Code" have been approved to be the national standard (SJ/T 11349-2006, SJ/T 11350-2006) of the electronic industry by the Ministry of Information Industry of PRC, which are the first 2D Barcode standards in China with self-developed IPR by Chinese. On December 16th, 2008, AIM Global, the trade association that recognized as the worldwide authority on automatic identification and mobility, announced the public availability of International Symbology Specification-Syscan Grid Matrix.
Syscan Manufacturing Base is equipped with a series of internationally advanced machines such as optical chip test apparatuses, automatic microtome, automatic chip mounters, automatic chip press welder, automatic dispensers, and computer test apparatuses.
